Koch companies believe that treating others with dignity and respect enables them to reach greater personal achievement.

In May 2014, employees from Georgia-Pacific’s consumer products operations in Crossett, Arkansas, and Muskogee, Oklahoma, loaded six semi-trucks with donated bath tissue and paper towels for delivery to tornado victims in Arkansas and Mississippi. The products were distributed through Convoy of Hope, a Springfield, Missouri-based international humanitarian relief agency. GP regularly donates products to the organization so it can respond quickly in disaster situations.

Through 22 years of sponsorship, Flint Hills Resources and Fiesta de los Ninos, the fundraiser for Driscoll Children’s Hospital, have raised more than $6.5 million targeted at improving health services for Corpus Christi-area children. FHR sponsors the event and employees volunteer, doing a variety of things such as helping prepare the barbecue dinner.

Commitment to Helping Others

In addition to funding, Koch companies make in-kind contributions of equipment and supplies, including personal consumer products. Contributions and employee energy support organizations that give people a hand up and propel them toward success. Focus is on:

  • Inspiring achievement

  • Emergency and disaster relief efforts
