John Zink Company’s Tulsa, Okla., site was part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Performance Track program from 2003 until 2009 when the program was suspended.  NEPT companies go above and beyond environmental standards to protect the environment. The Tulsa site has been named a VPP Super Star and a VPP Star of Excellence site from OSHA Region IV for its safety culture. John Zink Company provides its employees with continuous safety training, resulting in a culture of accident and injury elimination.

Koch Specialty Plant Services (KSPS) implemented a safety-based behavioral observation program in 2004. The P.A.C.E. (Personnel, Accountability, Culture and Enforcement) program involves every employee in the safety process through participation in random yet structured observations focused on safety behavior. The result: an employee driven safety culture that helped make KSPS one of the first Mobile Workforces to receive the OSHA VPP STAR.

Koch-Glitsch was named one of the Safest Companies in America, by Occupational Hazards magazine for its strong safety culture and performance record. Company sites in Dallas, Houston and Wichita were named “Star Among Stars” in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs for 2008.

The modules are also used to treat water in the beverage, textile, food, paper, and chemicals industries.

Koch Membrane Systems was a key supplier to the Bundamba Advanced Water Treatment Plant's water reclamation system. The plant is part of Australia's Western Corridor Recycled Water Project, the largest recycled water project in the Southern Hemisphere. The Bundamba project earned the Water Project of the Year award for its significant contributions to water technology and environmental protection at the 2008 Global Water Awards, presented by the International Desalination Association (IDA) and Global Water Intelligence.
