Ranching

The Matador Cattle Company operates three ranches: Beaverhead near Yellowstone National Park in Montana, Spring Creek in the scenic Flint Hills of Kansas, and the historic Matador Ranch in Texas. The ranches total about 425,000 acres and have about 15,000 head of cattle.

Matador Ranch in Texas offers a number of hunting packages which include first-class accommodations and a visit to an area graced with rugged canyons, rolling plains and endless skies. Everything is provided to ensure an enjoyable experience.

A full line of hunting clothing and outdoor gear for men, women and children is available from the Matador Pro Shop's online store

The winner of several major environmental awards, Beaverhead
Ranch in Montana was the first ranch in the country to achieve
Wildlife Habitat Council certification, and was recertified in 2008.
Beaverhead was also honored by the Montana Preservation Alliance
for maintaining the historical integrity of many of its ranch buildings,
including this 1860s log barn.
