David (Dave) Robertson is president and chief operating officer of Koch Industries, Inc., and a member of its board of directors. He previously served as executive vice president of Koch Industries. Mr. Robertson began his career with Koch companies in 1984 and has led several Koch companies. He is the past president of Flint Hills Resources, Koch Petroleum Group, Koch Beef Company and Koch Agriculture Company. Mr. Robertson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Emporia State University, in Emporia, Kan. He and his wife, Kathy, live in Wichita and have three children. Based in Wichita, Kan., Koch Industries, Inc. owns a diverse group of companies in refining, chemicals and biofuels; forest and consumer products; fertilizers; polymers and fibers; process and pollution control equipment and technologies; commodity trading and services; minerals; ranching; and investments. Koch companies have a presence in nearly 60 countries and employ about 60,000 people. Since 2003, Koch companies have invested about $50 billion in acquisitions and other capital expenditures. Mr. Robertson is also chairman of Georgia-Pacific Equity Holdings, LLC and Flint Hills Resources, LLC. He serves on the boards of INVISTA B.V. and Koch Chemical Technology Group, LLC, subsidiaries of Koch Industries, as well as Guardian Industries Corporation, in which a Koch subsidiary holds a minority interest.
